RVK-Consulting means highly skilled practising experts in the organization of efficient water supply and wastewater disposal, who are equipped with necessary methodologies and tools, have authored solutions in front-end engineering, audit of performance and design of WSU systems. RVK Consulting has partnership relations with leading Russian R&D organizations in the WSU sector and with foreign companies.

The activities of RVK Consulting are rooted in the history of urban WSU infrastructure establishment in Russia, dating back to the middle of the last century. It was at that time, in 1949, that a resolution of the USSR Government set up in Moscow a specialist group called Orgvodokanal (Rovodokanalnaladka) as part of RSFSR Ministry for Public Utilities.

The Rosvodokanalnaladka group was succeeded by the following companies: the Rosvodokanal operator company and RVK-Consulting engineering company (2003), the latter set up as a spin-off of the Rovodokanalnaladka engineering arm.

The RVK-Consulting engineering company jointly with the Rosvodokanal operating arm proposes cooperation to the administrations of municipal entities in the Russian Federation by using practice-tested solutions for transforming unitary enterprises into commercial operators.

RVK Consulting currently provides WSU services from the North-West to the Far East in Russia. The company's business units and partners are located in the cities of Moscow, St Petersburg, Volgograd, Rostov-on-Don, Ufa, Chelyabinsk, Khabarovsk, Novosibirsk, Vladivostok, Nizhny Novgorod. RVK Consulting's customers are administrations of various territories and towns, federal agencies, water and sewage utilities (WSU) and manufacturing and processing companies in various industries.
