OmskVodokanal

Operated under Rosvodokanal's management, OmskVodokanal is responsible for water supply and wastewater disposal in the town of Omsk.

The town's water supply and wastewater disposal system comprises four water-intakes with total capacity of 800 thou. m3/day, two complexes of water purification facilities and two complexes of sewage treatment facilities – in Omsk and in the suburban settlement of Krutaya Gorka.

Public water supply is arranged using 12 major district pumping stations, 75 quarter pumping stations and 1573.6 km of water mains. The system for the disposal of household and industrial wastewater comprises 1092.6 km of sewers with 74 sewage pumping stations.

The company has enacted a Strategic Development Plan, which provides for long-term development of the town's water-supply and wastewater-disposal system. There has been developed and passed by state expert panel a Programme for the rehabilitation and development of the water supply and wastewater disposal systems in the town of Omsk, with a term of 24 years. As Stage One of its implementation, there has been developed and enacted by the Omsk Municipal Council an Investment Programme for 2007-2010, with funding of over 2.5 bln roubles
